So they got Gaffney to turn then burned him by changing to enough votes to pass the tax hike anyway. Way to go Gaffney! I hope you lose the next election by a landside assuming you are stupid enough to run!
Gaffney didn't get burned, Ward gave him cover ... if it passes by one more vote than necessary, no one is technically the "deciding" vote. But we know differently, and so does Gaffney. Ward's vote was inconsequential.
