MESSA Reform Passes!

We have been trying to do this for 5 years! Dave Law took a tough vote. He didn't want to do it, but he did because it was the right thing to do.

Thank you for keeping us updated on what is going on in the House! You blog has been FANTASTIC this evening and you responses have been insightful.

Now, how do we send our governor back to Canada?

With Dave Law's vote, nobody on the GOP has any business using district as an excuse. That is a VERY tough district.

If he's not term limited (not sure when Shulman left), he needs our help in a big way, and has earned it.

it seems that this vote was a no brainer; to those that aren't puppets of the MEA, I'm certain it was.

At least there was enough support to get this one right.

Hey Jack!!!! You are awesome! Thanks for what you're doing! I know that the email I sent out was a little strong, but I felt it was needed. I will most certainly send out thank-you's to each of the five who stood their ground! As for the other two... Not good. Thanks for the updates!! : ) God Bless,

I am sorry to say but after contacting my step son in Woodstock Ontario he informed me they don't want her either. He says they already have too many tax and spend liberals there so I guess it is official Canada will will be invoking a no return policy on Queen Jenny.

Your updates have been greatly appreciated tonight, I am happy to see one thing good came from tonight. On the other hand, I am stunned and disgusted at the ineptness of our State Government who voted to further tighten the noose around folks necks, specifically our young people. I will now watch as 2 of 4 Children and my 3 Grandchildren have to, because they can't afford this State, move to southern states as both are able to make lateral moves in their present jobs !!! One plus, I suppose, will be the fact that van rental companies, i.e. Avis, Hertz, U-Haul will be hiring a few more folks, you see they are needed to go and retreive vans/moving trucks going from this State to any other, because no one in their right mind will be in need of a rental to move into THIS State !!!
