Oh, and then there is the "Incompetence Tax"

It was well said by Craig DeRoche, Minority Leader of the House when he said that the hundreds of millions that businesses paid to figure out how to pay the service tax which did not go into effect could be characterized as the "Incompetence Tax."

Do you think the Legislature is incompetent? We shut down government for four hours because we can't get the budget done in time. We impose a tax that would put many businesses into bankruptcy, one that would have generated two or three times what was predicted. We come back with a repeal and replacement. We create a new Michigan Business Tax (MBT) which brings in more revenue than the SBT, and then we add 22% on top of that. We spend $1 billion more than last year in the worst economy in America?

Incompetent? That is an understatement.

Incompetence? Wouldn’t it be fitting if the Legislators would run their own finances just as they run the Legislature?

Well, the Citizenry of Michigan, Michiganders and Michiganians alike (a little dig at the Canada Governors of Michigan), now reap the harvest of the seeds that they have sown, that is to say the votes that they cast.

It may be time to start with a clean sheet of paper to define the government of Michigan, but who can be trusted to do what is right? Not the Citizenry and not their representative bodies. This is proven.

I do not know many people who have admitted to voting for Queen Jennifer, but each one who has expressly admitted to doing so, has also expressly stated that they should have voted for DeVos.

Hey! Michigan! Wake up! When you cast a vote, you plant a seed that will grow to be your future. Pay attention to the vote you cast!

Sadly, those who need to read this don’t care enough to read this.
