Sounds like you need to pare down your part-time legislature proposal even further - a one day legislative calendar (preferrably a Saturday) and pro-rate the salary to $570. I could support that. :o)
DeRoche is right. A part-time legislature would be great. An unicameral one would be better. It sure would take far less time if there was only one body to get a bill through.
