Wall Street Journal Op-Ed Supports Right-to-Work in Michigan

Right-to-Work states in Red
The nearest Right-to-Work (RTW) state to Michigan is Iowa. Not much of a threat. But imagine if Wisconsin and Indiana go RTW. Michigan will be effectively cut off from any economic manufacturing boom that is bound to happen soon. All the data points to RTW states as the desired locations for new businesses.

Michigan is not on the way to anywhere. You have to go out of your way to get here. If Indiana on the south and Wisconsin on the west decide to become RTW states - and both of them are seriously looking at it - Michigan's ten-year recession (or should we say "depression"?) will stretch as far into the future as the eye can see. It is time for the legislature to act.

I wish politicians would focus on creating jobs instead of this partisan and divisive legislation. This is another corporate payback for the CEO and Big Business on Wall Street. It will lower wages and benefits for the working class on Main Street.
